Who writes Nordbada?
Nordbada was founded and is written by Martin Bonfils, an SEO and e-commerce consultant based in Aix-en-Provence, France (Ecommerce Dynamics). The idea came from a simple observation: information about wood-fired hot tubs is scattered across manufacturer product pages and reseller listings, with few neutral reference points on real prices, materials and installation.
Our aim is to become the reference guide, in English, French and German, for choosing a wood-fired hot tub, an outdoor sauna or outdoor wellness equipment, championing build quality rather than the lowest price.
Our method
- Public, dated prices. Price ranges come from the prices published by manufacturers and retailers that deliver in Europe. Every page shows when it was last updated.
- The same criteria for everyone. Tub, timber, stove type, insulation, size, options, warranty and after-sales service: every model is assessed on the same grid.
- Verifiable practical information. For installation, planning rules or electrics, we point to the official rules and qualified professionals rather than deciding for them.
- No paid rankings. No manufacturer can buy a place in our guides or comparisons.
How the site is funded
Nordbada is free for consumers. When you request quotes, your request is passed to at most three partner manufacturers, who may pay us. This payment changes neither the price you pay nor our assessment criteria. Full details are on our transparency page.
